Panthers Lose in Pre-District Game

The North Lamar Panthers dropped a 9-0 decision to Sunnyvale on Monday.

Kevin Dickey handled Sunnyvale 's lineup with ease, racking up eight strikeouts. Dickey allowed three earned runs on three hits and four walks over five innings.

Sunnyvale added three more runs in the bottom of the fourth. A bases loaded walk scored Jose Castillo for the inning's first run.

Sunnyvale tacked on another five runs in the sixth. Lawson Ayo started the inning with a double, bringing home Evan Adrian and Curt Fitzgerald.

North Lamar will face Atlanta Friday night at home in their first district game of the season. First pitch set for 7:30.
