It didn't take long for the North Lamar Panthers to assert themselves as the dominant team Tuesday night. In their Bi-District matchup with Bullard, the Panthers started fast and cruised to a 62-36 win in Emory.

North Lamar started the game on a 10-0 run. It started when Versache Buchanan hit a three-pointer in the corner. It was his first of the game but it wasn't his last. Nor was it the Panthers last three-pointer. Versache would hit two more throughout the game.

Levi Porter would also get in the action of the long ball. Levi knocked down five from downtown, resulting in 15 of his game-high 19 points. As a team, North Lamar shot 55% from three-point range as they finished 11-20 for the game.

North Lamar also dominated down low. However, it wasn't just the big man that showed up. Hunter Sartor did maki is presence known down low, however. Hunter finished with 10 points, seven rebounds and a blocked shot. The team's leading rebounder, however, was a different person. Samaki Walker finished the game with nine rebounds. Seven of those came on the offensive side of the ball. As a matter of fact, the Panthers had just as many offensive boards as they did defensive with 19.

North Lamar will now face Brownsboro in the Area Round of the playoffs. North Lamar defeated Brownsboro earlier in the season at the Van tournament by a 58-51 score. Time and location for this game has not been set.
