For the second time in less than a week, the North Lamar Panthers faced off against the Clarksville Tigers. For the second time, the Panthers lost to the Tigers. This time the score was 54-47.

North Lamar, missing a key defender due to soccer, played decent defense against the number five ranked team in 2A. After falling down by 10 points, the Panthers battled back against the Tigers.

After trailing by two points at half, both teams struggled in the third quarter. Clarksville scored six points in the third while North Lamar only managed a Levi Porter three pointer. That shot came with a little over two minutes left in the quarter.

The fourth quarter was also back and forth but in the end the height of the Tigers was too much for North Lamar. The Panthers will face Bonham at home Friday night before traveling to Princeton Monday night. They will, then, start district play next Friday night at home.
