Sulphur Springs Too Much for North Lamar


The North Lamar Panthers traveled to Sulphur Springs to take on the Wildcats. After hanging tight through one quarter, Sulphur Springs pulled away for a 59-33 victory over North Lamar. 

Trailing 14-13 after one, the Panthers only managed one point in the second quarter. That came from Seybian Holt. The third quarter wasn't too much better as North Lamar only had seven points. Meanwhile Sulphur Springs scored 13 in the second and 10 more in the third. 

Josh Daingerfield led the way for North Lamar with 13 points. Menderiz Gray had seven, Jake Stewart finished with five and Cody Anthony had four. North Lamar will be at the Wills Point tournament beginning Thursday.
