JV Outlasts Whitesboro to go 2-0 on Season

The JV Panthers won a physical game 18-14 over the Whitesboro Bearcats Thursday at R.L Maddox. It took a complete team effort to achieve the victory. The offense was boosted with touchdowns by Brody Evans, Austin Allison, and Austin Exum. The game was a physical and mental test for the Panthers but they held strong for all four quarters. The defense came up in big situations with interceptions from Exum and Allison.

In the trenches Monty Ponder had a nice game for the defensive line and Jeffery Blair stood out for the offensive line but both players said "it was a fight from the very start" and that they "were proud of their teams physical and mental toughness."

The Panthers look forward to next week (9/10) in a matchup against the S&S Rams.
