North Lamar High School was awarded a $500 check from Food Fast Stores. The grant was made possible through the Exxon Mobil Educational Alliance Program.
Exxon Mobil has a long history of supporting educational programs that focus on improvements in these areas from pre-school to higher education. They believe it is fundamentally important to encourage the next generation to pursue studies and careers in fields involving math and science.
“The grant will help buy calculators that our students can use in class,” said Hildreth.
