Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come!

The first day of school is full of anticipation, which sometimes is accompanied by a few butterflies!  Parents of young students are relinquishing their children for the day, teachers are anxious about their new class, and most youngsters are facing their new adventure with excitement.  Above Anslee Kennedy broke the ice with her kindergarten teacher, Lisa Thompson, (right), by bringing her a book entitled, Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come!   Anslee’s mother, Angelia (left), and her brother, Conner, an eighth grader at Stone Middle School, helped make the transition easy by accompanying her to class the first day of school.
