Send-off planned for NLHS Football and Volleyball Teams

A send-off is scheduled for the North Lamar High School football and volleyball teams on Friday, November 11 beginning at 1:05 PM.  Students, parents, and fans are invited to gather on the North Lamar campus to cheer on both teams as they leave for the playoffs.

Buses will leave the football parking lot and head toward Everett Elementary before turning left at Goodman Learning Center.  They will pass in front of Higgins Elementary, past Bailey Intermediate and Stone Middle School, before taking a right toward the high school on Buster’s Way. The buses will make the first left through the student parking lot before turning right and passing in front of NLHS.  Parents and fans are asked to show support by joining others on campus to cheer the teams on. 

The Panthers will play the Terrell Tigers for Bi-District on Friday at 7:30 pm at Terrell Memorial Stadium in Terrell, Texas.  Tickets at the gate will be $6.00.  Accepted passes will be District 7 & 8 4A Passes, THSCA Membership Cards & Senior Citizens. The game will be broadcast live on MIX 107.7 with Steven Johnston and Larry Kennemer calling the game.

The Pantherettes will play the Argyle Lady Eagles for Region at 8:00 pm at Poteet High School in Mesquite, Texas.  Tickets for adults are $10 and $5 for students.  Greg Higgins will call the gameon 101.9 KBUS.  The Championship game will be played at Poteet High School on Saturday, November 12 at 1:00 PM.
