Parent Workshop to Help with Student’s Test Anxiety

School NewsGreg Higgins

What is test anxiety? How do you recognize the signs in your child? What can you do to help them overcome it?  All these questions will be addressed at a parent workshop hosted by North Lamar ISD on Monday, March 7 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the NL Athletic Facility

North Lamar parents and/or caregivers are invited to bring a lunch and learn how to help their child with test anxiety.  NLISD counselors will offer ways to identify test anxiety, tips to help ease and calm the nervousness, and techniques that can be used immediately.  The result will be a happier and more relaxed child in the classroom.
