Pioneer Days Relived for Students

As part of the Everett Elementary ‘Texas Day’ activities this week, Darenda Babb dressed in character and read stories about the pioneer days in America.  She spoke to the second and third grade students about the migration of Americans from the east coast to California and Oregon. After reading books written by Laura Ingalls Wilder, each student received a johnnycake baked by Babb.
