A Race for Easter Eggs

School NewsGreg Higgins

The overnight cooler weather didn’t stop the Higgins Elementary Easter egg hunt typically held at the playground.  Students, dressed in colored T-shirts to represent their classes, were bused to the indoor athletic facility where wrapped and plastic eggs were scattered from one end of the practice field to the other.  On the count of three, the eager hunters spilled on the turf with a mission to gather as many of the prized findings as they could.
