The second and third grade students at Everett Elementary gathered in front of the Mobile Dairy Classroom to learn about the dairy industry from instructor Aaron Sanders.  The traveling milking parlor, sponsored by the Southwest Dairy Museum, is a free innovative program that brings the dairy experience directly to students.  The oral presentation brings math, science, health (nutrition) and agriculture together in an outdoor classroom format. Sanders demonstrated how to milk a cow, described how milk goes from the farm to the consumer, and answered questions from the curious minds in the audience.
