Mock archaeological dig offers clues to early civilization

Sophomores Cheyenne Sanchez, Kelcey Fitzgerald, Victoria Vizcaya and Savannah Carroll analyze artifacts they discovered at an archaeological site hoping to discover clues indicating the type of civilization that once lived in the region. These students were participating in a mock archaeological dig staged in the halls of North Lamar High School during Dennis Hodgkiss’s second period Pre-AP World History Class last week.
