North Lamar High School Colorguard placed second in their division after competing against 5A and 6A schools at Wakeland High School in Frisco, Texas, on February 25. During the competition season and performing independently from the school’s marching band, North Lamar’s Colorguard is part of the North Texas Colorguard Association circuit in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex.

“The girls have been hard at work since December, and I am glad that their hard work is paying off and that the audience and judges enjoy watching our show,” said NLHS Colorguard Director Cristian Gomez.  “I am looking forward to seeing their growth going into our last month of the Winterguard season.”

The colorguard will compete on March 10 at Red Oak High School and conclude their season at State Championships on April 1 at Coppell High School.
