North Lamar Names New Softball Coach


North Lamar has named Ashley Endsley as the new head softball coach, replacing Jimmy Fendley. Coach Endsley was a North Lamar graduate in 2009.  Coach Endsley played 4 years on the Pantherette’s softball team. Ashley was the Newcomer of the year and Defensive player of the year during her career at NLHS. She was All Red-River Valley 1st team. She then went on to play at PJC for 2 years under Coach Lyon. Coach Endsley then went on to play at UT Tyler for 2 years where they were 4th in the World Series.

Ashley earned Newcomer of the year in the ASC and 2 year All-Conference and 2 year Academic All-Conference. She also earned the National Fast pitch Coaches Association award. Coach Endsley then became the graduate assistant under Coach Reed at UT Tyler. Coach Endsley began her head coaching career at Winona and has spent the last 2 years at Brownsboro carrying the team to the playoffs both years. The athletic department would like to welcome Coach Ashley Endsley back home!
