Pantherettes Take Down State-Ranked Melissa

The North Lamar Pantherettes welcomed the 19th ranked Melissa Lady Cardinals into North Lamar on Tuesday night. After four sets, the Pantherettes walked away with a 25-21, 25-23, 22-25, 25-21 victory.

North Lamar, ranked 17th in the state,  had great play all night long from their leaders. Bailey Foy led the team with 14 kills. Bill Jones had 10. Haley Porter was 23 of 25 from the service line and had one ace as well. Porter also led the team with 22 assists. Kayla Igleheart finished with 20 assists. North Lamar will play New Boston at 4:00 pm Friday night in Pantherette gym.

JV - The Junior Varisty team lost to Melissa in three sets 19-25, 25-23, 23-25. Hannah Clark and Mara Mabry each had 15 assists in the loss.

Freshman - The freshman team defeated Melissa 25-11, 25-11. Emma Stewart had four kill and Madelyn Clark finished with nine assists.
