North Lamar played like you would expect the 18th ranked team in the state to play on Friday night. Except for a few brief moments in the first set, North Lamar had their game against Pittsburg well in hand.

The Pantherettes easily took care of the Lady Pirates (25-15, 25-10, 25-4) to open up district play. Bailey Foy finished with 12 kills and 10 blocks. She also went 13 for 13 from the service line with three aces. Haley Porter  went 15 for 15 from the service line and had 26 assists in the win.

North Lamar will continue district play Tuesday night as they host Liberty Eylau. They will be on the road for their first road contest against Atlanta on Friday night.
