As the match was winding down last night, chants of "Let's play football" were ringing down from the student section of Paris High. This was because the Lady Cats just lost their 13 straight volleyball match to the North Lamar Pantherettes. North Lamar took an early lead in the game and never looked back as they won 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.

Paris came into the game alone in first place with a 3-0 district record. North Lamar, after a couple of disappointing losses to start district came into the match with a 2-2 record. It was a collective effort as the whole team played great for North Lamar.

Jacie McFatridge finished with 11 kills and was also 15/16 from the service line. Emma Stewart was 13/13 from the service line and Macie Pointer had eight blocks for North Lamar. With the win North Lamar is now 2-2 and will travel to Atlanta on Friday night.

The NL JV defeated Paris 25-8, 26-24 while the Fresham won 26-24, 25-14.
